View Competency FrameworkIt is a free, structured knowledge assessment with three levels: AAI-1 AI Foundations, AAI-2 Applied AI Practitioner, and AAI-3 AI Systems Specialist. Each level tests different AI knowledge and skills, scores your answers by competency area, and shows you what to study next.
Start with AAI-1 AI Foundations if you are new to AI or want to confirm the basics. If you already use AI tools regularly for work, AAI-2 Applied AI Practitioner is a reasonable starting point. AAI-3 AI Systems Specialist assumes you already understand AAI-1 and AAI-2 material.
Yes. There is no cost and no account required to take any of the three assessments.
No. Ainanza badges represent completion of an educational knowledge assessment. They are not an accredited professional certification, license, or externally verified credential.
Every question is worth one point. Your overall score is the percentage of questions answered correctly. We also calculate a separate score for each competency domain (like Prompting or Safety), plus a dedicated safety score.
A high overall score can still hide weak judgment about privacy, verification, or responsible use. Each level requires a minimum score specifically on Safety and Responsible AI questions to pass, regardless of your overall percentage.
Yes, as many times as you like. Retaking generates a new set of questions from the question bank and a new attempt ID.
Yes. Each attempt selects a new set of questions following a fixed distribution across competency domains, and answer option order is shuffled where it is safe to do so. Your question set stays the same if you refresh the page mid-attempt.
AAI-2 and AAI-3 require every tested competency to meet a minimum score, not just the overall average. If one competency falls short, the assessment is not passed even if your overall score looks strong. Your result page explains exactly which requirement was not met.
You can view and copy your result summary and achievement ID. There is no public sharing or verification link in this version.

Yes, you can take any level at any time. However, the full AAI-3 AI Systems Specialist badge is only awarded once AAI-1 and AAI-2 have also been passed. Passing AAI-3 alone earns the assessment result but locks the badge until the earlier levels are complete.
